Science fiction/fantasy fans Jon Karas and Tim Brazeal, established Sci Fi Studios in August 2005.
Jon, the owner of a reputable talent-management company in Hollywood, has been an active and successful film producer in the entertainment industry for over 20 years. Jon's most recent film involvements include the previously released "Checking Out" starring Peter Faulk, Judge Reinhold and David Paymer, and the upcoming release "Believe in Me."
In 2004, Tim founded the campaign to save “Star Trek: Enterprise” from cancellation, and raised over 3 million dollars from fans worldwide in an effort to pay for a fifth-season production of the show in 2005. After the offer was refused and money returned to those who contributed, Tim became somewhat of a celebrity in the science fiction and fantasy world.
Tim is someone that sincerely cares about the industry and its fans. He currently speaks at many conventions and
other events on behalf of the science fiction/fantasy genre and its community.
With a home office on Hollywood Blvd in L.A., Sci Fi Studios was formed behind Tim and Jon's efforts to bring fans together with some of the top entertainment industry professionals to create various science fiction, fantasy and other related products including movies, television series, games, comics, graphic novels and merchandise.
Our goal is to establish a community where fans and professionals can interact to produce high quality and highly anticipated science fiction and fantasy entertainment.
